Life takes root downwards, tumbling in the mud to search, or sturdy branches, in order to find a growth posture that is most suitable for oneself.
What shape will we be?
In the midst of chaos, standing on our own beliefs, perhaps, naturally, we will grow into our own appearance,
and that will be the most beautiful gift I give to this world.

一台家族留下的 D8 錄影機，裡面全是母親替兒時作者拍攝的童年影片。作者以有些抽離卻介入的方式觀看錄影帶，試圖以拍攝者母親的視角，重新審視自身與母親的關係。作者將影像拆解後重新剪輯，刪除原始片段的音檔，另造出羊水、超音波、嬰兒牙牙學語...等含有「新生」存在意象的聲音，作為製造影像和觀者間視差的介入物。藉由影像與觀者間隙的拉開，重新編造一個新的觀看方式。
A D8 video recorder left by the family, which is full of childhood videos taken by the mother for her daughter's childhood. Anna, the artist of this artwork, watched the video in a somewhat detached but intervening way, trying to re-examine the relationship between herself and her mother from the perspective in the video. Anna disassembled the footage and re-edited it, deleted the audio file of the original clip, and created other sounds containing the image of "newborn" such as amniotic fluid, ultrasound, baby babbling, etc, re-defined the gap between images and the audience, to create a new way of viewing.
